![]() Because of Covid, they’re restricted with what they’re doing. It looks nice on the outside, but that’s it. It’s kind of hard because I’ve only been able to be there once and I couldn’t go in because of the Covid thing. There’s always one or two staff that doesn’t work, but he’s fine with the people that have been offering their assistance to him. Anybody that I’ve talked to has been very helpful, very polite, very upbeat, and energetic. The other day, he told me that he was glad that he was there because he feels safe, so that’s good. He participates in his own care and he makes his own decisions and that sort of thing. He’s 95 years old and he’s very much aware of everything. I’ve talked to people there, and he’s getting very sufficient care. My father is in Dunmore Health Care Center. The security is good, as far as entering and leaving from one section to another and getting in the building and so forth. ![]() We can have a nice private visit whenever we go. One lounge has a lot of puzzles and things like that, and they’re nicely furnished. The one thing that we like is that there are a lot of lounges when we go for a visit. It’s not a gourmet restaurant, but it seemed well-balanced.Įverything is wonderful. If you don’t like the menu, you can go to the options. If it’s something that she doesn’t like, she can get the standard things like grilled cheese and hamburgers and so forth. They have called a couple of times just with minor things when they change medications or anything, so the communication is very good. We go over there every day and they update us on how she’s doing. They have a very nice outside area at this time of the year. She goes to rehab and she goes to the dining hall. They have a regular monthly schedule with things like bingo and movies and so forth. They do include, as part of the fees, the laundry service. She’s on the window side, so that’s nice. We go there daily and we are very pleased with it. ![]() I don’t have any negative to say about them. They are very accommodating as far as her needs, which change from day to day. We were particularly interested in this facility because it’s so near my home and we have known several people who have been residents there and they were always very happy there.
